At Marden Park! The Waterloo Wellington Children’s Groundwater Festival returns to Marden Park for the 2026 festival from Friday, May 22 to Thursday May 28! This beloved community event will continue to bring a splash of fun and education, to reminds us all about the importance of water and groundwater in our lives. A Celebration of Water Education

Since its inception, the Groundwater Festival has been a cornerstone for teaching children about the vital role water plays in our ecosystem. The festival’s return to the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum is particularly special, as this venue has a rich history of hosting educational events that inspire young minds.
